Learn More About the Culture of Africa at the 2016 Houston AfriFEST

The Nigerian-American Multicultural Council (NAMC), in partnership with other African communities in Houston, presents the 2016 Houston AfriFEST!

It's come around again, and what better time of year for festivals! This fall we will hold the 4th annual Houston AfriFEST dubbed as "the only one of its kind" by the Houston Chronicle. This is apparent by the festival’s attendance, and this year we expect more than 2,000 guests from the Houston area alone.

We will take you on a cultural journey through Africa and celebrate the rich diversity in food, music, dance including family fun from African communities in the "most diverse city in the US."

Join us as we feature special live music and performances, food and exceptional ethnic cuisines of different African countries, cultural artwork, country displays, fashion shows, games, kids' activities, and more.

Step outside of our welcoming and comfortable community at Oaks of Westchase Apartments in Houston, Texas for the day! This event is coming to town on Friday, and it promises to be a wonderful time!
