Travel Back in Time as You Witness This Jaw-Dropping Performance of Guys and Dolls

The Hobby Center Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to expand Houston's reputation as a world-class cultural center by providing a premier performing arts facility, fostering accessibility to the performing arts and promoting arts education, with an emphasis on musical theater.
With that being said, the venue presents Theatre Under the Stars’ rendition of the beloved musical, Guys and Dolls!

Travel back to a time when gangsters and gamblers ruled the underworld of New York City. This classic musical with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, based on some of the short stories by Damon Runyon, premiered on Broadway in 1950, and the following year won five Tony Awards in every category in which it was nominated, including Best Musical.

Soaring with the spirit of Broadway and Damon Runyon's re-imagined version of New York City, Guys and Dolls introduces us to a cast of vivid characters who have become legends in the canon. Guys & Dolls has had several Broadway and London revivals, as well as a 1955 film adaptation starring Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra, and Vivian Blaine.

Before you know it, you’ll be singing in the aisles along to some of the greatest tunes in Broadway history! Don’t miss out on this jaw-dropping live performance of a musical classic.
